THE
COUNTRY CLUB
Members of the Country Club are bound to comply
with the terms and conditions as set out below. This is to ensure that all
facilities are properly and safely used, and that all members have full
advantage of them without interfering with the enjoyment of others.
The management has the responsibility for the
control and operation of the country club and alterations to the terms and
conditions shall be at the Management’s discretion. For health and safety
reasons there will be a limited membership.
MEMBERSHIP
Individual wishing to become members of the Country
Club must complete the official application form, accompanied by the
appropriate subscriptions and submit to the Country Club Management. The
management reserves the right to reject any application or renew membership
without ascribing any reason for doing so.
All direct debit accounts will be collected between
the 1st and 3rd day of each month inclusive.
Any member wishing to terminate their membership
must give a minimum of one month (30 days) notice to do so. If you wish to
rejoin you must go through the complete membership process again.
Membership key rings will be issued and will remain
the property of the Country Club. Keyrings must be returned to the Country Club
on termination of membership. 30 days’ notice must be given when cancelling
membership with the club. Personal details given will be held on a computer
system. Should there be any changes please inform Reception.
RESIDENTS
All hotel residents are automatically temporary
members of the Country Club and must abide by all the necessary Terms and
Conditions. Residents must hand in their key card & folder at the Country
Club Reception and sign in and out. Towels are supplied and a pound coin is
required for locker facilities. Residents must abide by the Country Club dress
code.
SUBSCRIPTIONS
Additional charges may be incurred for some of the
facilities at the discretion of the management. Membership is non-transferable
and non-refundable.
DIRECT
DEBIT GUARANTEE
This guarantee is offered by all banks and building
societies that take part in the direct debit scheme. The efficiency and
security of the scheme is monitored and protected by your own Bank or Building
society.
If the amounts to be paid or the payment dates
change, La Mon Hotel & Country Club will notify you 10 working days in
advance of your account being debited or as otherwise agreed.
If an error is made by La Mon hotel & country
club, or your bank or building society you are guaranteed a full and immediate
refund, from you branch of the amount paid. You can cancel a direct debit by
completing the cancellation form at La Mon Country Club with 30days notice
required before the cancellation can be processed.
COMPLIANCE
WITH RULES
Members accept to agree and be bound by the terms
and conditions of the Country Club. Changes to the Terms and Conditions shall
be displayed on the Country Club notice board.
CHILDREN
Children under the age of 14 are permitted to use
the swimming pool when accompanied by an adult but are not permitted to use any
other facilities. Children aged under 16 are only permitted to use the pool
facilities.
GUESTS
Each membership is entitled to a total of four
complimentary guest visits each year. Members must always sign their guests in
and are responsible for the good conduct of such a guest while on Country Club
premises. Members are responsible for ensuring that each guest complies with
the rules of the Country Club and must be accompanied at all times.
DRESS
CODE
Members and guests are required to dress in a
proper manner appropriate to the Country Club activity. No football tops are to
be worn. All members and residents must be fully dressed when entering and
leaving the country club.
ANIMALS/PETS
Animals are not permitted anywhere in the Country
Club
ACCOUNTS
Before leaving the Country Club on each occasion,
members must settle their account for any charges incurred whilst on the
premises.
VARIATIONS
TO TERMS AND CONDITIONS
The management reserves the right to amend and add
to these regulations as it sees fit. Amendments will be posted in the Country
Club notice board.
COMPLAINTS
AND DISPUTES
Any complaints concerning the Country Club, disputes or differences in the interpretation of the Terms and Conditions, shall be referred to the management of the Country Club whose decision will be final and binding.
FACILITIES
All facilities include in the Country Club
membership are only to be used during the official hours of opening. Members
and their guests are not permitted to use any of the Country Club facilities
while under the influence of alcohol, anticoagulants, antihistamines,
vasoconstrictors, narcotics or tranquillisers.
SWIMMING
POOL
In the interests of hygiene, users of the swimming
pool are requested to shower before use. Members and guests are requested to
wear pool shoes at all times around the pool area and when walking to and from
the changing facilities. Swim hats must
be worn in the main pool at all times. Children
under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult when using the pool. Only
bottled water is permitted around the pool area and must be disposed of
appropriately. Country Club management reserve the right to confiscate any
other food or drink.
JACUZZI
In the interests of hygiene you are requested to
shower before and after using the Jacuzzi. You should spend no longer than 10
minutes in the Jacuzzi at any one time. Correct attire must be worn, and
correct conduct must be adhered to at all times. Those with diabetes, heart
disease or high/low blood pressure should check with their doctor prior to
using the facility. Pregnant women should not use this facility without prior
consent from their GP.
Children under the age of 16 are not permitted to
use the Jacuzzi.
STEAM
ROOM/SAUNA
In the interest of hygiene, you are requested to
shower before and after using the sauna/steam room. Persons suffering from
heart or circulatory problems, high blood pressure or kidney disease should
refrain from using either facility.
Pregnant women are not permitted to use the steam room.
Children under the age of 16 are not permitted to
use the steam room.
GYMNASIUM
For safety reasons this area must be kept dry. Users of these facilities are therefore
forbidden from entering these areas whilst wearing wet clothing. Suitable clothing and footwear should be worn
at all times. Outdoor shoes or bare feet
and baggy clothing are not permitted.
All users must ensure they return all equipment
used to its correct location. It is the user’s responsibility to bring a bottle
for water.
All users are required to bring a towel or use to
equipment supplied to wipe down the equipment after use.
LIABILITY
Members and guests use the pool and other
facilities of the Country Club entirely at their own risk. Each member and guest is responsible for
ensuring that they are in good physical condition and know of no medical physical
condition and know of no medical reason why they are not capable of engaging in
active or passive exercise might be detrimental to their health safety, comfort
or physical condition.
Members and their guests should not use any Country
Club facilities whilst suffering from any infectious or contagious illness,
disease or other ailment, or whilst suffering from open cuts, abrasions open
sores or minor infections where there is a risk that such use may be
detrimental to the health, safety, comfort or physical condition of other
members. All persons using or entering the Country Club premises, carpark and
grounds do so at their own risk.
Responsibility will not be accepted by the La Mon Hotel & Country
Club or their employees for any loss or damage to property or personal injury. Members
and guests are responsible for making their own insurance arrangements to cover
the possibility of injuries to themselves.
LOST
PROPERTY
The management cannot accept responsibility for the
loss or damage from any articles left unattended on these premises. Items found
will be recorded on the found property record and items reported as lost shall
be logged on the lost property record with the customers contact details. As
items are found, they will be cross referenced with the lost property record to
try and match found items to their owners. Any found property, which is
unhygienic or soiled, shall be disposed of immediately. Found property shall
not be loaned out to customers.
Larger items of property found such as coats or
trainers shall be retained in the designated area for 30 days and thereafter, will
be removed from site. After the designated duration, any unclaimed property
shall be sent to a charity shop / recycling bins or disposed of properly. Customers
claiming items must sign for the item on the found property record. To prevent complications,
the existence of found items will be checked before informing the customer that
the item has been found. If the lost item is identifiable such as a purse with
telephone number in, the Duty Manager will arrange for the customer to be
contacted, informing that the item has been found.
COUNTRY
CLUB ADMISSION AND OPENING TIMES
The management are entitled at any time, to withdraw use of all or part of the facilities of the La Mon Country Club for the purposes of undertaking essential maintenance works for a period not to exceed 21 days, unless notification is given. Upon such occasions, compensation for such closures will not be given. The management will keep such closures to a minimum and will endeavour to notify members at the earliest possible date.
CONDUCT
OF MEMBERS - TERMINATION OF MEMBERSHIP
The management may suspend the membership of any
individual whose conduct, whilst on the premises is considered to be
detrimental to the La Mon Hotel & Country Club and its reputation. Any
person whose membership is terminated shall immediately be excluded from the
Country Clubs premises and cannot claim against the La Mon Hotel & Country
Club.
If a member wishes to terminate their membership
before it would normally expire, no refund of subscription will be made.
